Even though our main target as the organization is to fight poverty, hunger, improve the well-being of children and support their education and health, this activity is not meant to solve hunger problem in children. Our continuous projects which are long term will continue to cater for that. We are doing this activity to cater for their psychological and emotional needs as children.
This activity is aimed at equipping children in Gomba District with scholastic materials, to ease on the pressure on the hand-to-mouth families in those villages, plus giving the children confidence to learn, hence enhancing scholastic performance.
Fruit Trees give off oxygen that we need to breathe. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding. Many species of wildlife depend on trees for habitat. Trees provide food, protection, and homes for many birds and mammals.
This lack of activity has major implications for the health of children, including an increased risk of obesity and diabetes. Research has also shown that this can impact children’s mental health and well-being, along with their academic performance.
Children’s physical activity levels are of course influenced by a whole array of factors, including friends and family, schools and teachers, and the area they live in.
Menstruation is an integral and normal part of human life, indeed of human existence. Menstrual hygiene is fundamental to the dignity and well-being of women and girls and an important part of the basic hygiene, sanitation and reproductive health services to which every woman and girl has a right.
One of the things we can't miss whenever we meet with children is telling them inspirational stories. Inspirational stories which are educational can teach children simple basics of life.
